2) Meanwhile, cook 4 slices of turkey bacon in a large pan over medium heat, until crisp. Set aside on a paper towel. Cook other 4 pieces and remove.
3) Add olive oil and chopped onion to the warmed pan. Saute until softened, about 5 minutes. Meanwhile, cut the turkey bacon into small pieces.
4) Add pepper flakes to onions in pan and saute for 1 minute. Add the chicken broth and bacon and heat through.
5) Drain the pasta and broccoli and transfer to a large mixing bowl. Add the onion mixture and the diced tomatoes to the bowl and mix well. Stir in the parmesan cheese and serve. Serves 3-4.
